Joseph A. Cooper is a former trained NASA pilot with an engineering background, turned farmer, and the pilot of the interstellar expedition. Coop has two children: Tom Cooper and Murphy Cooper. Joseph Cooper is portrayed by actor Matthew McConaughey.
Cooper was a 34 year old farmer. Who went on to be the pilot of the Interstellar expedition in the end of the Lazarous Project.
